Opportunity Development & Diversity Education Planning (ODDEP)

ODDEP has overall responsibility for leadership, coordination and an oversight of the University’s affirmative action and diversity education initiatives. Our office monitors all matters within the University that pertain to affirmative action, equal opportunity and diversity. We collect and analyze affirmative action data, investigate complaints of harassment and discrimination, and participate in resolution, maintain the university’s written affirmative action and diversity plans, develop policy statements and procedures and monitor staff and faculty hires. We manage implementation of the university’s Diversity Strategic Plan. We also provide diversity education and  compliance training, consulting to managers, supervisors and staff employees, and consulting for the university.
